Feet in the soil.
Head in the sky.

Kush on mindset, grounding, and a little divine perspective — plant-fed, faith-rooted, and told through the kind of analogies you can't unsee.

Kush
Why Kush

Strength isn't a grip. It's a root system.

I used to think strength meant holding tighter — tighter schedule, tighter jaw, tighter grip on everything I couldn't control. Grounding taught me the opposite. A tree doesn't survive the wind by clenching. It survives because of what's happening underground, out of sight, long before the storm shows up.

This is where I write about the mindset shifts, the cold mornings, the faith, and the plant-based fuel that keep me steady when things get loud. Fair warning: I see most of life through nature's own instruction manual, so expect an analogy or twelve.

The Pillars

Five things I actually build my days around

Not a checklist. A foundation — each one holding the others up.

Mindset

Rewiring the default settings. How you think is the terrain everything else grows on.

Grounding

Bare feet, cold mornings, still minds. Reconnecting the signal between body and earth.

Higher Source

Faith as gravity, not decoration. The pull that keeps ambition from floating off.

Plant-Fed

Vegetarian by conviction. Fuel that builds without weighing you down.

Supplements

No hype, no shortcuts pretending to be shortcuts. Just what the body actually asks for.

Perspective

The same problem looks different from a lower angle. I go find that angle, on purpose.

Perspective, Served as Analogy

A mirror explains more than a lecture

Scroll sideways. Take whichever one lands.

"A tree doesn't grow by fighting the wind — it grows by answering it."

On Resistance

"Supplements are the seasoning, not the meal. Mistake one for the other and you'll taste it later."

On Shortcuts

"Faith is the root system you can't see, holding up the tree you can."

On Belief

"Mindset is soil. Change the soil before you blame the seed."

On Growth

"Grounding isn't slowing down. It's finding out what speed actually feels like."

On Stillness
What I Actually Take

No hype. Just gaps, honestly filled.

Whole food comes first, always. These fill the specific gaps a plant-based plate can leave — nothing here is a substitute for eating well, and none of it is a magic pill.

01

B12

The one nutrient plants genuinely can't hand you. Non-negotiable on a vegetarian plate.

02

Magnesium

For sleep that actually resets you, not just knocks you out.

03

Algae Omega-3

Same benefit as fish oil, sourced from where the fish got it in the first place.

04

Creatine

One of the most researched things on this list. Unglamorous. Effective.
